TONYA MOTTER

I have been styling hair for a decade. My training began at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, Minn. Over the past 10 years, I have had extensive training with Bumble and Bumble in New York City. I have also had the opportunities to experience London, Paris, Chicago and New York. My goal is to grow my own small business at Studio 51 and continue my education. The future is wide open.

Before I chose a career in hair, I worked in advertising in Toledo after earning a bachelor’s degree in marketing and psychology from Ohio University. Advertising was not completely fulfilling for me, so I changed gears and moved to Minneapolis to start my journey in hair styling. I returned to Toledo because my roots are here. It is a great community.

When it comes to hair, I do it all. My passion is coloring and cutting hair. I use Redken Hair Color. And it doesn't matter if it is a polished blow-out or a beautiful wedding up-do, I love styling. I also perm and relax hair. It is my personal mission to make my clients look and feel beautiful.
